I'm Ben and running is a way of life for me. I thrive on the mental wellbeing it brings and the connection with the outdoors. My passion is ultra-endurance events and I live in Ely amongst the fens of East Anglia in the UK - hence, the name fendurance.
I'm a qualified UESCA Ultramarathon Coach and an England Athletics Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF). I love helping runners of all levels achieve what they may previously have thought was impossible. So whether you're aiming to conquer an ultramarathon, going for an FKT, or interested in your own self-supported adventure (my personal favourite!) then I'm here to support you every step of the way!
I've been fortunate to achieve things I would never have thought possible when I was younger. I've run over 100 marathons (including 10 marathons in 10 days), completed dozens of ultramarathons from 50k up to 268 miles, cycled 200 miles in a day, tackled dozens of triathlons and even finished a self-supported iron distance triathlon. I've set a few FKTs along the way.
With over 20 years of running experience, I've learned the ins and outs of endurance events. My mission is to share that knowledge with you — offering advice, mentoring, and personalised coaching that's as unique as your running journey.
